What's Actually Causing Your Low Back Pain?
Low back pain isn't one thing. It's usually the end result of a spine that has been out of alignment, under repeated strain, or slowly breaking down for longer than you realize.
But low back pain isn't just an ache. It's not being able to bend down to tie your shoes, dreading the drive home, or a back that "goes out" at the worst possible time. Low back pain is a structural condition. It deserves a structural answer.
-
Caused by strain, poor posture, or repetitive movement patterns that overload the muscles and joints of the low back. Often starts mild and occasional, becoming more frequent as the underlying alignment issue goes uncorrected.
-
Pressure on surrounding tissue and nerves creates a deep, localized ache that can radiate into the hip or leg — frequently made worse by sitting, bending, or lifting.
-
Develops gradually as the spine loses its normal curve and support over time, and tends to worsen with age if the underlying structural shift is never addressed.
-
A nerve root in the low back becomes irritated or compressed, sending pain, numbness, or tingling down through the hip, glute, and leg.
Low Back Pain Doesn't Wait. Neither Should You.
Untreated low back pain rarely stays the same. Muscles compensate, discs take on more load, and what's manageable today becomes chronic tomorrow. Don't rest and wait. Correct and thrive.
Why Patient Choose Us And Why They Wish They’d Found Us Sooner.
Most of our patients come to us after being told to "watch and wait" or after months of general chiropractic care that helped their pain, but never addressed the curve itself. Scoliosis requires a specialist. Not just someone who treats backs, someone who exclusively understands curves, progression, and correction.
From your first visit, we measure, analyze, and build a plan designed specifically to correct your spine. No guessing. No generic treatment. Just targeted, proven corrective care that gets real results.

About Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP)
KNOWN AS ONE OF THE MOST RESEARCHED, STRUCTURALLY-FOCUSED NON-SURGICAL APPROACHES TO SPINE CORRECTION. CBP CERTIFIED CLINICIANS USE AN INDIVIDUALIZED, EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACH, INCLUDING:
Postural X-ray analysis: precise measurement of your spine's alignment
Mirror Image® corrective adjustments: designed to move your spine toward its ideal position
Mirror Image® traction and corrective exercise: reinforcing the correction between visits
ScoliBrace®
CUSTOM BRACING SYSTEM
ScoliBrace® is an evidence-based, non-surgical treatment for scoliosis in children, adolescents and adults only available through certified ScoliBrace® Providers.
-
This unique bracing approach brings together the latest technology, evidence-based techniques and experienced clinicians to achieve the best possible outcome for patients with scoliosis. No two braces are the same, and your customized brace is as unique as your spine.Rather than following the traditional approach of immobilizing the spine with a brace, the ScoliBrace® system is designed to provide individualized correction that improves spinal alignment and overall posture while the brace is worn.
ScoliBrace's® over-corrective design harnesses spinal coupling rather than traditional three-point pressure to guide the body into a more balanced three-dimensional posture. In this position, the brace works to retrain the neurological connection between the brain, joints, and muscles that controls posture. Over time, this process helps the body adapt to a “new normal,” ideally supporting a straighter spinal position.
ScoliBalance®
Our approach to Exercise
ScoliBalance® is an exercise approach that provides the patient with an individualised, scoliosis-specific program based on their curve type and postural characteristics.
-
Patients first learn a personalized three-dimensional posture correction called ScoliCorrection®, which positions the spine in its most optimal alignment. They then perform targeted ScoliExercises® while maintaining this corrected posture, helping reinforce proper positioning and muscle engagement. As the patient becomes more familiar with the program, they are taught to integrate the ScoliCorrection® into their daily activities. This helps to subconsciously train the body to hold the ScoliCorrection® helping to reduce or stabilize the scoliosis curve. This will continue to bring patient’s spines more flexibility and maintain lifelong results.

DOCTOR CREDENTIALS
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Dr. Levet doesn't dabble in scoliosis. It's all he does, every patient, every day. He's built one of the most comprehensive, results-driven scoliosis practices in the Southeast.
Certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), ScoliBalance, and ScoliBrace, the world's most advanced 3D custom corrective bracing system, Dr. Levet brings together the most powerful non-surgical scoliosis tools available under one roof. Patients travel from across the Carolinas and across the country to see him, because when it comes to actually correcting a curve, results speak louder than anything else.
I've had parents sob in my office, not from fear, but from relief. And I've had patients in their 50s and 60s cry those exact same tears. People who woke up every single morning in pain. Who stopped doing the things they loved. Who were told this was just their life now. When they realize their curve is reducing, the pain is lifting, and surgery is off the table, nothing compares to that moment. No rods. No fusion. Just a stronger, straighter spine, a body that moves again, and a full life ahead. That is why we do this.

WORDS FROM OUR PATIENTS
We Have Answers.
Everything You Need To Know Before Booking Your Assessment.
-
Yes, and this is exactly what we specialize in. Either through a combination of ScoliBrace custom 3D corrective bracing, ScoliBalance neuromuscular rehabilitation, and/or mechanical traction, we've helped hundreds of patients achieve real, measurable Cobb angle reduction, confirmed by X-ray. Not managed. Not slowed. Actually corrected.
-
No. While Dr. Levet holds his chiropractic degree, this is a dedicated scoliosis and structural spinal correction practice. Every patient, every treatment plan, every tool in our office is focused on one thing: correcting scoliosis. We are ScoliCare certified providers, CBP certified, ScoliBrace certified, and ScoliBalance certified. This is all we do.
-
Because curves don't wait. Especially in children during growth spurts and in women during and after menopause, scoliosis can progress rapidly. Every degree matters. The earlier corrective care begins, the greater the potential for real curve reduction. Waiting is the most common and most costly mistake in scoliosis care.
-
Every spine is different, so every timeline is different. Most patients begin seeing measurable improvement within 3 to 6 months of consistent corrective care. Your personalized plan will be built around your curve, your age, and your goals and we track progress with real spinal measurements every step of the way so you always know exactly where you stand.
-
There is no perfect age, but earlier is always better for growing spines. We treat children from the time of diagnosis through their teenage years, monitoring progression and intervening with the right tools at the right time. The goal is always to correct the curve before it reaches surgical thresholds. If your child has been diagnosed, now is the time to act.
-
Absolutely. One of the biggest myths in scoliosis care is that adults can't improve. We treat patients in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond, many of whom have lived with pain, limited mobility, and a curve they were told was permanent. Through targeted corrective care, we've helped adult patients reduce their curves, eliminate chronic pain, and get back to living fully. It is never too late.
-
That's exactly what your first visit is for. During your $247 Scoliosis Assessment, we review your imaging, measure your Cobb angle, evaluate your posture and mobility, and determine which corrective tools are right for your spine. By the end of your first visit you will have a clear answer and a clear plan. No guessing. No pressure. Just answers.
-
Traditional hospital braces like the Boston or Milwaukee brace are designed with one goal, to slow progression. They push against the curve using a generic mold. ScoliBrace is custom 3D-printed to your exact spinal geometry, designed to actively correct the curve, not just hold it in place. There is no comparison in terms of correction potential.
